So I totally rolled my eyes when I read one reviewer claim that this was the best burrito he has had in his entire life...because... well... gravity of words and empty sort of promises....
But He wasn't wrong ... this burrito ties with teahuana Oaxacan burritos :) ... gooey, cheesy, moist and somehow every bite is the same ... generously portioned and reasonably priced.
The pasole was pretty good --- didn't have a lot of depth from the chillis but was comforting and
Hearty nonetheless.
Owners are kind and welcoming. -

Really glad I decided to give this place a try! I wasn't expecting much because after living here three years and tirelessly trying terrible Mexican joints, I've only found a couple to be true and authentic to what I remember being street style Mexican food back home.
If I were to give this place any true negative Stars it would be the terrible parking options. That sounds like a totally tourist thing to say but at the end of the day the parking lot has a bunch of signs forbidding parking there unless you're a patron of the other businesses, and the street looks like Prime Break-in area. However once you step inside you forget all of that because the ladies working behind the counter or nothing but sweet and genuine and definitely leave a lasting impression.
The menu isn't exactly what I expected but it had enough of what i liked and desired that I made my order. It was pretty basic and I kept it at just the standard 5 carne asada tacos with everything. I was happy to see that they had a spicy red salsa, nothing crazy but something with enough heat that I enjoyed it. It was a well-rounded experience, from the service to the quality of food and the price it all matched up well. It wasn't the best I've ever had but I haven't had great in a long time so I would definitely give this place two thumbs up for anyone looking for a great meal! -

Coming from CA, people warned me that OR mexican food isn't as good.
But my husband looooves Mexican food and was craving, so thought we would just give it a shot.
I got the carne asada burrito and he got the carne asada quesadilla. Both were about average, the carne asada was good. The real winner is the bottle of red sauce, this really makes the meal.
I thought it was on the pricier end, but apparently good Mexican food in OR is scarce so I'll take what I can get.
Lastly, its relatively clean and the waitress was kind, friendly, and attentive. -

I thoroughly enjoyed my Mole Enchiladas w Carne Asada. The portion with the side of black beans and rice was just perfect. Not too gut busting. My black beans were just warm and not hot otherwise I'd gladly give a five. Maybe I misheard but I thought the lady said she was going to bring me some chips and she never did.
